The first time I tried putting Brooke's hair into pigtails was interesting. First of all, I couldn't get her hair to part down the middle and getting her to sit still while I pulled on it was a chore. But I did it, and this was K's reaction. He was seriously distraught over "Brookie's two hairs". He was not a fan and every time he looked at her he would start crying, apparently he "no like it"!
So we moved onto the single ponytail which worked much better. I'm biased, but I think she's so stinking adorable with her hair pulled out of her face.
In October, Curt and I went to Sedona for a free night stay. The weather was great and since we only had about one day to do anything we were driving from one end of town to another trying to see it all. Before we left though, we hiked to the top of one of the rock mountains where Curt decided to shimmy his way around a ledge to a cliff on the other side. To top that off, he thought climbing up five feet and then jumping back onto the narrow, unstable ledge would make for a great picture. It did, and I realize how reassuring life insurance on a thrill-seeker can be!
Thanksgiving was spent in Payson where the weather was surprisingly chilly. We also got to spend the weekend with Curt's cousins who were in town. It's always fun seeing them and grateful they could even squeeze in some time to take a few family pictures for us.
Well I think that finally wraps up the last few months and I can finally move onto all the fun things that happened in December!
